BOOKING YOUR ROOM
Booking a hotel room is the responsibility of the convention attendee, not the convention staff. Like any convention or film festival, rooms are sold at the hotel on a first-come, first-serve basis, even if you have been to the convention consecutive years. People have been booking their rooms earlier every year and the hotel sells out early in advance. Rooms are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis. Last day to book online at the convention rate is July 23.
The convention discount rate is $109 per night, a bargain versus the usual price this hotel offers. CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO BOOK YOUR ROOM ONLINE.
From North or South I-83, take exit 20A for Shawan Road.

Baltimore/Washington International – BWI
(a.k.a. Thurgood Marshall Airport)
* Phone: 1-410-785-7000
* Hotel is located 25 miles north of the airport
Do not arrive in Washington, D.C. (Dulles/Reagan) You want to fly in to BWI.
The light rail travels from BWI and stops across the street from the Convention hotel. This option usually costs less than $3 per person. There are two different light rails. One is the local (and stops at every stop) and the other is the express (which skips a number of stops). Try to get the express because the local will take longer to get to the hotel. Regardless of which light rail you take, the very last stop going north is your stop, marked Hunt Valley. The hotel is within sight distance from the station.
Amtrak has two stations available. Baltimore is located at 1515 North Charles Street and is the closest to the hotel. The light rail does not stop at this station and a cab or Super Shuttle is the only way to get to the hotel. The light rail is supposedly a block away.
UBER or LYFT
Yes, we are stating this twice for a reason. As this is now the 21st Century, we recommend you use your smart phone app and use Uber or Lyft to get you to the hotel. This is much cheaper than cab.
