If this is your first time attending, the following questions and answers should help you.

Is there an admission fee?

Yes, there is an admission fee of $20 per person, per day. Kids are free.

Everyone who attends the convention receives a free full-color 48-page program guide.

Do I have to pay admission in advance?

No. You can pay admission at the front gate. We will not turn anyone down. Bring a friend!

What does my admission include?

You get access to everything. All of the vendors, the celebrities, the movie room and the seminars.

Why do you charge a small admission fee?

We have to charge a small fee to cover expenses such as rental of the hotel, cost of transportation for celebrities, etc. (As one of our frequent attendees pointed out, the $20 fee is extremely small compared to the hundreds of dollars you would spend to fly out to California. We are bringing the celebrities to you.) The Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention is non-profit so we only charge enough to cover expenses -- unlike other shows that charge $30 and $35 per day and do not even bother to give you a program guide!

Do you have a Lost and Found?

If you found something that is not yours, drop it off at the registration desk. 

If you lost something, check with the registration desk.

Will the celebrities be there all three days?

Yes, all of the celebrities will be at the show all three days. If there are any exceptions, they will be noted on the home page of the website.

A few of the celebrities sometimes need to leave Saturday afternoon due to an early flight so if you are planning to show up on Saturday instead of Thursday and Friday, show up early!

Will the celebrities charge a fee for their autograph?

Yes, celebrities charge a small fee, usually being donated to their favorite charity. 

Can I have my photo taken with the celebrities?

Yes, bring your digital camera or smart phone to take advantage of the opportunity. 

Do you know which celebrities are coming next year?

Yes, we do. No, we will not announce them until the website updates January 1.

Convention policy is to have different celebrities every year. We rarely ever bring specific celebrities back a second year so if you miss out, do not say we did not warn you.

How do I book my hotel room if I am staying overnight or for the weekend?

You need to call the hotel and book your room just as you would if you were traveling on vacation. We have no control over the hotel and cannot twist their arm if they sell out. There are neighboring hotels and motels in the area.
